"Once upon a time, a little girl believed that the world existed exactly as it was told to her. In this world, little girls worked hard to be good girls so that when they grew up they could be princesses and chosen by a prince. This was the path she knew she was expected to take. Tales were told of wild ones who had strayed from this path, of how they had chosen to go into the dark and dangerous woods, guarded by the huntress, where only wicked witches and spinsters lived. These stories always warned that only one thing awaited them there: a life of being unchosen and alone. No happily ever after would ever come to them. The little girl was secretly enthralled by these stories, but she so desperately wanted to be a very good little girl. So she stayed on her path and never ever questioned it." 

 This is a story about a choice to leave the path, a transformation, and a journey to find enoughness.
